Kris Matthews, LSCSW
Kris is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. With a deep passion for supporting those with complex behavioral health needs and autism spectrum disorders, she specializes in guiding families through services across various systems to ensure comprehensive care.
With expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and other evidence-based approaches, Kris focuses on enhancing overall quality of life for her clients.
She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare in 1998 and obtained her Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) credential in 2010. Her extensive background includes work as a child and family therapist, wraparound facilitator, and a leader in research and provider training on implementing evidence-based practices.
